Important Notice to Shareholders of
Xtrackers MSCI Russia Capped Swap UCITS ETF (ISIN: LU0322252502)
(the “Sub-Fund”)

Dear Shareholder
We are writing to you in connection with the recent notices published in relation to the Sub-Fund.
We refer to (i) the shareholder notice dated 01 March 2022, which informed Shareholders of the Sub-Fund that the board of directors of the Company (the “Board of Directors”) had decided, in accordance with article 22 of the articles of incorporation of the Company and the applicable provisions of the current prospectus of the Company, to suspend the determination of the Net Asset Value (the “NAV”) and the issue and redemption of Shares as well as the right to convert Shares of the Sub-Fund until further notice and as from the Transaction Day on 28 February 2022 as well as (ii) the subsequent shareholder notice dated 11 March 2022, which informed Shareholders of the termination of the suspension of the determination of the NAV.
We would like to clarify that the determination of the official NAV of the Sub-Fund remains suspended as announced in the Shareholder notice dated 01 March 2022. The purpose of the notice dated 11 March 2022 was to inform Shareholders that the Board of Directors has decided to publish an unofficial NAV for the Sub-Fund as from 11 March 2022. The determination of the official NAV and the issue, redemption and right to convert Shares of the Sub-Fund continue to be suspended until further notice.
MSCI, the administrator of the Reference Index published an announcement that effective 09 March 2022, Russia securities forming part of diversified MSCI Indices will be valued at 0.00001 of the security’s relevant currency. The Russian securities will not be removed from the Reference Index of the Sub-Fund. The unofficial NAV of the Sub-Fund will be used, amongst others, for information purposes and for the purpose of operational management of the Sub-Fund.
Trading of the Sub-Fund’s Shares at Deutsche Börse XETRA, Borsa Italiana and London Stock Exchange currently remains suspended, as notified to shareholders on 04 March 2022, 04 March 2022 and 07 March 2022 respectively.
