Senior Management Appointments

Strengthening Senior Leadership Team to ensure XLMedia is positioned for growth

XLMedia (AIM: XLM), a leading provider of digital performance marketing services, announces the appointment of Iain Balchin as Group Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect. The position will initially be a non-board position.

Iain is a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer who has worked as a turnaround specialist in a series of Group CFO roles. He joins XLMedia from Ixaris Group ("Ixaris"), the payments optimisation business where, as Group CFO, he was responsible for restructuring the finance function of the business.

Prior to Ixaris, Iain worked at WorldRemit, a private equity backed money transfer business, where he was responsible for restructuring the finance division and preparing the company for future investment. Iain has held a number of Group CFO roles, including with WIZINK Bank and Ascot Lloyd Financial Services, and senior finance positions with St James Place Wealth Management and Chartis Insurance - AIG Group.

In addition, Sarah Clark has been appointed Chief Transformation Officer. Sarah has a wealth of experience in developing and executing a strategic plan in order to drive the operational efficiency of a business. Sarah joins XLMedia from Loot Crate Inc, where she held the role of General Manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa. At Loot Crate, Sarah was responsible for establishing and leading the European operations of the one of the world's largest subscription commerce business and delivering monthly boxes to over 100,000 subscribers, with a core focus on driving profitable growth across the subscriber base.

Prior to Loot Crate, Sarah worked for PayPal, where she held the role of Head of Global Strategy, reporting to PayPal's President, before moving to the General Manager role, where she held full responsibility for 110 markets and annual transaction volumes of almost $10 billion. This is a non-board position.
