White Young Green plc ("White Young Green" or the "Company")

Discussions Terminated

On 20 June 2008, the Board of White Young Green announced that it had received an unsolicited preliminary approach that may or may not lead to an offer being made for the entire issued share capital of the Company. Discussions in this regard have now ceased and the Board can confirm that the Company is no longer in talks regarding a possible takeover.

Further to the trading update announced on 3 July 2008, the Board can confirm that trading in the period has continued to be strong and performance remains in line with the Group's expectations. The Board expects to announce its preliminary results for the year ended 30 June 2008 during the week commencing 15 September 2008.
