Waterman Group PLC01 April 2008 Waterman Group plc ("the Company") Director Shareholding The Company was today informed that Mr Alexander C. Burton, a director of theCompany, sold 100,000 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of £1.39 per shareon 28 March 2008 and that his wife sold 5,000 ordinary shares at a price of£1.40 per share on 1 April 2008. Following these transactions, Mr Burton'sbeneficial interest is 868,740 ordinary shares, representing approximately 2.99per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Mr Burton hasindicated to the Company that he has no present intention of further disposingof his holding of ordinary shares. In addition, the Company was yesterday informed that Mr R H Campbell sold 50,000ordinary shares on 28 March 2008.
