Confirmation of Dividend Payment

Further to the announcement on 21 April 2011, the Company is pleased to confirm that the second and final distribution of Dundee Precious Metals Inc common shares ("Dundee Shares") by way of a dividend in specie, will be paid on 23 May 2011 to shareholders who were on the register at the close of business on 19 March 2010.

As previously announced, this second and final distribution of 0.00198 Dundee Shares per ordinary share to shareholders is in respect of the Dundee Shares received by the Company pursuant to the disposal of its smelter business in March 2010. The dividend is being paid to Weatherly shareholders who were on the register at the close of business on 19 March 2010 ("the record date").

Fractional entitlements which otherwise would have arisen will be sold for the benefit of the Company.

In addition, for qualifying shareholders holding less than 50,000 ordinary shares as at the record date, and for any qualifying shareholders who have registered addresses in the United States of America or Canada (except for Dundee Precious Metals Inc), the Company intends to pay a cash dividend of 1.1p per ordinary share, being the cash equivalent value of the in specie distribution after expenses incurred by the Company.
