New $4.5m Contract Award - Middle East

Westminster Group Plc (AIM: WSG), a leading supplier of managed services and technology-based security solutions worldwide, is pleased to announce that its Technology Division has been awarded a contract for the provision of advanced vehicle screening solutions to an existing client within the Middle East.

Under the Contract, valued at around $4.5m USD, Westminster will provide a number of advanced vehicle screening solutions to screen vehicles for security threats and contraband as they enter a high security facility.

The project will commence as soon as advanced payments are received and is anticipated to be largely delivered during the current financial year.

Commenting on the contract award Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said:
