Preferred Distributor - MicroSearch® Heartbeat Detector

for Prisons, Ports & Border Crossings

Westminster Group Plc ('Westminster' or 'the Group'), the AIM listed supplier of system solutions and products to the security, defence, fire protection and safety markets worldwide, announces that it has been appointed by Ensco Inc as an authorized UK distributor of their MicroSearch® advanced heartbeat detector which is a groundbreaking security inspection system that can detect humans hiding in vehicles or containers by sensing the vibrations caused by the human heartbeat.

The system is ideal for vehicle and container inspections at correctional facilities, high-value facilities, border crossings, ferry ports and seaports. Existing UK customers include HM Prison Service, Scottish Prison Service, and the UK Border Agency.

The MicroSearch® system can determine whether a person is hiding inside a vehicle or container without the time-consuming and expensive task of manually unloading and inspecting a vehicle or an entire container, such as a cargo vessel.

Westminster has been appointed as a preferred distributor and supplier of the MicroSearch® units providing both supply and ongoing maintenance of units within the UK.
