Senior Management Appointment

Experienced Wind Energy Executive, Martin McLarnon, appointed VP of Sales for the Americas

Windar Photonics plc (AIM: WPHO), the technology group behind the LiDAR-assisted monitoring and optimisation solution for multiple wind turbine platforms, is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin McLarnon as Vice President of Sales for the Americas, which follows the appointment of Birol Yosul as VP of Sales for Europe last month. Both senior hires are part of the Company's planned investment in developing existing and new prospects in these two key markets, which are driving the Group's current expansion.

Martin brings more than 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector across the Americas, and he holds a master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He has held a number of senior leadership roles in Wind Energy involved in Construction, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Reliability Engineering. His previous experience includes sales/business development and project management roles across the wind sector at ONYX InSight, Workrise (Harvest Energy Services), RES Americas and GE Power, consistently delivering growth through strategic account management, project execution, and customer-centric solutions.

Both Martin and Birol will represent the Company at the Husum Wind 2025 expo in Husum (Germany) from 16-19 September. Windar will be exhibiting its Optimisation and Performance Monitoring solutions, with a specific focus on its Nexus OS software and the upcoming launch of the advanced Turbine Performance Monitoring software module (Nexus TPM).
