Trading Update talkSPORT extends Global Rights Partnership with Premier League to 2019 UTV Media plc (UTV) is pleased to announce that talkSPORT has extended itsinternational partnership with the Premier League for an additional three yearsuntil 2019. The London-based station has been re-appointed as the PremierLeague's global audio partner to the end of the 2018/19 season, continuing theexisting four year agreement which was due to expire at the end of the 2015/16season. As with its existing agreement, the extension gives talkSPORT an exclusivepackage of international audio rights to provide official live commentary ofall 380 Barclays Premier League matches in any language to listeners around theworld outside of the UK and Republic of Ireland. The new agreement follows talkSPORT's highest ever listening figures in the UK,according to the latest RAJAR figures, with 3.4 million sports fans tuning inevery week. talkSPORT is the world's biggest sports radio station and is global audiopartner of the Premier League.
