Renewable Energy Generation Limited ("REG" or the "Group" or the "Company")
Board Appointments
Renewable Energy Generation Limited, the AIM listed developer of renewable energy projects, announces changes to its Board which will take effect on 20 January 2010. At this time, Charlotte Valeur and John Scally will be appointed as Non-Executive Directors and Nigel Syvret will retire from the Board.
Charlotte Valeur (45) has extensive experience of international capital markets and infrastructure projects, having held senior positions at Warburg, BNP Paribas, Societe Generale and Commerzbank in the UK and Scandinavia. She is co-founder of the Alternative Investment Consultancy, Brook Street Partners and a Non-Executive Director of 3i Infrastucture Plc.
John Joseph Scally (61) is a seasoned land and property development professional, with international experience in both the private and public sector, including in UK development corporations and regional and local planning authorities.
REG's Chairman, Mike Liston said "these appointments strengthen the Board's competencies in immediately relevant disciplines as we focus on executing the substantial expansion of our operating wind power assets in the UK during the next three years. They reflect our emphasis on the opportunities in this period to acquire, as well as internally develop, consented projects for construction and they complement our recently reinforced professional teams' expertise in investment appraisal, planning, development and construction".

Renewable Energy Generation Ltd (REG) is a UK orientated renewable energy group. The Group's main business is the development, construction and operation of wind farms in the UK and generating power from refined used cooking oil in the UK.
The Cornwall Light & Power Co. Ltd: based in Cornwall, UK, it currently operates seven wind projects in Cambridgeshire. Cornwall, County Durham, Cumbria and Gwynedd, with a total capacity of 21.3MW and has a development pipeline of around 350MW.
REG Bio-Power UK Ltd: based in Nottingham, UK: it operates electricity generation plant fuelled by vegetable oil.
