Directorate Change - Update

As announced on 20 August 2019, and following the regulatory change to the FCA's Senior Managers Certification Regime on 9 December 2019 and the confirmation that the appointment of certain non-executive directors to FCA authorised firms is no longer subject to FCA approval, the board of WH Ireland is pleased to confirm that Alistair Buchanan has been appointed as a director of the Company with immediate effect.

In addition, further to the announcement of 4 October 2019, the Company confirms that Richard Lee will cease to be a director of the Company with effect from 31 December 2019.

Finally, further to the announcement of 6 November 2019, Phillip Shelley has agreed that, subject to FCA approval, he will be appointed Chair of the Company. Accordingly, it is agreed that Tim Steel will remain as Chairman as the Company until such time as FCA approval is received for a new Chair; after which time Tim Steel will also resign as a director of the Company, rather than on 31 December 2019 as previously stated.
