Appointment of Finance Director and Operations Director
WH Ireland is pleased to announce that it has agreed the appointment of Nigel Gurney as Finance Director and Michael Frame as Operations Director of WH Ireland, effective no later than 1st January 2009. The two appointments will be made following the termination of Nigel Gurney's employment with Spencer House Capital Management LLP and subject to receipt of appropriate FSA approvals.
Nigel Gurney, aged 42 years, is currently Financial Controller with Spencer House Capital Management LLP, the independent Asset Management partnership, which was founded in 2006. Nigel is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified in 1993.
Nigel is a Director of Pamela Butler Limited and formerly a Partner of Invicta Investment Management LLP, from which he resigned in March 2007. Previously Nigel was interim Head of Finance at Orn Capital LLP, and prior to joining Orn was Finance Director for EMEA and APAC for Ciena Corporation.
Michael Frame, aged 42 years, is currently a director and company secretary of WH Ireland Limited, and Company Secretary of WH Ireland. He is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified in 1990 and joined WH Ireland Limited in March 2000.
Michael is also a Director of WH Ireland (Financial Services) Limited, Securities Industry Management Association, ARE Business & Professional Limited, SRS Business & Professional Limited, and JBCM Holdings Limited.
Commenting on the appointment of Nigel Gurney and Michael Frame, Richard Ford, Chief Executive said:

As at the date of this announcement, Michael Frame is beneficially interested in 18,026 Ordinary Shares of 5 pence in WH Ireland ("Ordinary Shares") with options over 156,885 Ordinary Shares and Nigel Gurney is to be granted 50,000 share options over Ordinary Shares upon his appointment.
There is no further information to be disclosed under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM rules.
