AGM Statement

Walker Greenbank PLC (AIM: WGB), the luxury interior furnishings group whose brands include Sanderson, Morris & Co., Harlequin, Zoffany and Scion, will hold its Annual General Meeting in London this morning.

Terry Stannard, the Company's Chairman, will make the following statement:

"I am encouraged to report that sales of our brands are up 4% in the first 21 weeks of the financial year, compared with the same period last year.

"Highlights in the 21 weeks include the Far East, where brand sales were up 15%; Russia, up 11%, and the US, up 15%. The US performance is particularly encouraging as it marks the first time that we have seen significant growth in the US since 2008. In addition, the UK continues to perform well, with brand sales up 6%.

"We launched Scion, our new contemporary brand, in February this year and are encouraged by initial sales. Distribution partners are confirmed in 60 countries, and we already have 800 stockists in the UK.

"Looking forward, I'm pleased to announce the imminent launch of Sanderson Home. This exciting brand offshoot combines keen pricing with aspirational English design, taking the Sanderson brand into a new area of the marketplace whilst retaining the quality and style for which Sanderson is renowned worldwide.

"We remain confident of meeting market expectations for the current year and in the international potential of our brands."
