("Wey Education" or the "Company")
Exercise of Warrants and Options
Wey Education Plc (AIM: WEY.L), announces that in accordance with the warrant agreement dated 2 February 2015, it has received notification from WH Ireland Limited to exercise 389,706 warrants in the issued share capital of the Company ("the Warrant Shares") at a price of 4.775p per Warrant Share to meet increased levels of retail demand. The exercise of Warrant Shares amounts, in aggregate, to a cash value of £18,608.46.
Additionally, the Company has received notification from an option holder to exercise 250,000 options in the issued share capital of the Company ("the Option Shares") at a price of 5.00p per Option Share. The exercise of Option Shares amounts, in aggregate, to a cash value of £12,500.00.
Application will be made for the 639,706 new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, which is expected to take place on 14 March 2017. The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares in issue.
Total Voting Rights
In accordance with the provisions of the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules of the FCA, the Company confirms that, following this issue, its issued share capital will comprise 99,476,568 ordinary shares of 1 pence each. All ordinary shares shall have equal voting rights and none of the ordinary shares are held in treasury. The total number of voting rights in the Company immediately following Admission will therefore be 99,476,568.
