Board Changes

Walker Crips Group plc ("Walker Crips", the "Company" or the "Group"), the investment management, wealth management, pensions administration and regulation technology Group, announces that David Gelber, Chairman of Walker Crips, has advised the Group of his intention to retire from the Board at the next AGM in September 2020.

David Gelber has served as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Walker Crips since May 2007. The Board will commence the process to appoint a successor and an announcement will be made at the appropriate time.

Rodney FitzGerald, Group Finance Director, is retiring from the Board effective 30 September 2019, and will continue on a consultancy basis until 31 December 2019. Rodney has served with the Group since 1999 and was formerly Chief Executive Officer between January 2007 and September 2017.

Sanath Dandeniya, currently finance director of Walker Crips Investment Management Limited, joins the Board effective 30 September 2019 as Group Finance Director. Previously Group Financial Controller at Brewin Dolphin Limited (BDL), he joined Walker Crips in September 2016.

David Gelber, Chairman, Walker Crips, says:

These last few years have seen a period of huge change in the financial services industry, as well as within the Group, and I know that the Group is in good hands. We are financially strong and we have a skilled management team, capable of growing the business into the future.

"I would also like to pay tribute to Rodney FitzGerald, who served as CEO for the majority of my time as Chairman. He has led the Group with integrity, great professionalism and served staff and shareholders diligently. We wish Rodney all the best in the future and I welcome Sanath to the Board."
