Acquisition Update
Walker Crips is pleased to announce that, pursuant to the terms of the acquisition of G&E Investment Services Limited ("London York") completed in April 2005, 1,414,853 ordinary shares of 6 2/3p each in the capital of the Company ("the New Ordinary Shares") have been issued and allotted to the vendors of London York, representing the maximum deferred consideration due.
Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market ("Admission").
Admission is expected to become effective on 23 July 2008.
Following Admission, the Company will have in issue 36,826,187 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 6 2/3p each.
