Trading Update
The Directors of Qonnectis (AIM: QTI), the data monitoring service provider for utilities and users of energy and water, announce that sales for the six months to 31 December 2008 were materially lower than in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
The principal reason for this shortfall in sales is that last year's first half figures included delivery of a major order which has not been repeated in the first half of this financial year.
The Directors cannot at this stage determine whether these missed sales will be secured in the second half of the current financial year. Accordingly, results for the current financial year are likely to fall significantly below market expectations. The Company continues to expand its client base and intends to build upon this to increase its sales.
