Director Change

Water Intelligence plc (AIM: WATR.L), a leading multinational provider of precision, minimally-invasive leak detection and remediation solutions for both potable and non-potable water announces a change to its board following on from its annual American Leak Detection ("ALD") Franchise Convention.

On October 17-21, franchisees and corporate leaders from the US, UK, Australia and Canada met in Charleston, South Carolina along with various product and service partners, and reaffirmed the Group's 2024 growth plan. Following on from the convention, the Group announces that Michael Reisman, Myres S. McDougal Professor of International Law at Yale, who has served on the board since its listing on AIM in 2010, is retiring from the board. The Group also announces that the highest producing franchisee of its operating business ALD, Phil Meckley, is succeeding Dr. Reisman as a Non-Executive Director.

Mr. Meckley currently owns fast-growing franchises in California and Texas. He brings over twenty years of operating experience in growing ALD locations and has provided significant leadership to the entire franchise system. In addition, Phil and his wife Robin have provided leadership with respect to ALD's charitable efforts to help disadvantaged communities in various parts of the world solve water infrastructure issues, most recently in rural India.
