Statement regarding share price movement

The Company notes the recent share price movement. The Board of Verona is notaware of any reason that would lead to such a movement in the Company's shareprice. In addition, it now currently anticipates that the result of the RPL554anti inflammatory trial, previously expected around year end, will not beavailable until March 2013.
