Announcement of share buyback programme

The Board of Directors ("the Board") of VinaLand Limited ("the Company"), an investment company established to target Vietnam's emerging real estate market, is pleased to announce that further to the Update on Capital Distribution announced on 16 September 2011, the Board has resolved to initiate a share buyback programme.

The Company will initiate the share buyback programme following the end of the close period, which is anticipated to be no later than 31 October 2011, using cash received net of tax and other expenses from recent and future divestments. The buyback programme will operate within certain pre-set parameters.
