Vinaland Limited ("VNL" or "the Company"), an AIM-traded investment company with a primary focus on real estate investment within Vietnam's emerging market, announces that VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited ("VOF") , an AIM-traded closed-end fund also managed by VinaCapital Investment Management Limited, has today notified the Company that on 7 and 8 June 2010, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Vietnam Master Holding II Ltd, VOF purchased in a total of 2,165,087 ordinary shares of US$0.01 in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").
As a result of this transaction, VOF is interested in 29,998,057 Ordinary Shares which represents 6.0 percent of VNL's total voting rights.
