Volex Group PLC21 July 2006 Volex Group PLC ("Volex" or the "Company") The Company was informed on 21 July 2006 that, pursuant to the purchase of200,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), CycladicCapital LLP ("Cycladic") is now interested in 12,587,610 Ordinary Shares,representing approximately 22.7 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.Of these Ordinary Shares 100,000 were purchased at a price of 105.5p per shareon 17 July 2006 and a further 100,000 were purchased at a price of 100p pershare on 19 July 2006.
