Volex Group PLC24 January 2008 Volex Group plc DIRECTORATE CHANGES The Board of Volex Group plc (the "Company") today announces the appointment ofChris Geoghegan as an independent non-executive director and the retirement ofDimitri Goulandris from his position as a non-executive director. Both changesare effective from 1 March 2008. Chris Geoghegan will be a member of the audit, remuneration and nominationcommittees. Chris Geoghegan, 53, was until 31 December 2007 the group executive director ofBAE Systems plc, responsible for all European joint ventures; the company'scommercial aerospace interests as well as the UK wholly owned electronicsbusiness and shared services. He is also chairman of Hampson Industries plc anda non-executive director of Kier Group plc. Chris is a Fellow of the RoyalAeronautical Society and was previously President of the Society of BritishAerospace Companies. Commenting on the Board changes, Richard Arkle, Chairman said:"I am very much looking forward to welcoming Chris to the Board. Hisconsiderable knowledge of the military and aerospace industry, together with hisoperating and international experience, will add a valuable dimension to theBoard.
