The following amendment has been made to the 'Total Voting Rights' announcement released on 28 November 2008 under RNS No 1584J.
The number of shares in issue has been changed from 54,029,550 to 54,017,800.
All other details remain unchanged.

Total Voting Rights
In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Volga Gas Plc (the 'Company') today announces that following the issuance of shares on 18 November 2008, the Company has a total of 54,017,800 ordinary shares of 1p in issue with each share carrying the right to one vote.
The total number of voting rights in the Company is 54,017,800 (there are no shares held in treasury). This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Volga Gas Plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
