Block Listing Application
Vedanta Resources plc announces that an application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the block listing of 1,660,000 ordinary shares of USD ten cents each (the 'new ordinary shares').
The new ordinary shares will be issued from time to time pursuant to the exercise of employee share options under the Vedanta Resources plc Employee Share Option Plan and the Vedanta Resources plc Long Term Incentive Plan.
On exercise these shares will be issued credited as fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares of the Company. It is expected that the block listing will become effective on 19 September 2014.
