Universe Group PLC11 December 2006 Universe Group PLC ("Universe" or the "Company") HTEC three year support contract with Chevron Limited Universe Group plc announced today that its principal operating company, HTECLimited ("HTEC"), has secured a comprehensive three year support contract withChevron Limited ("Chevron") for Chip and PIN maintenance, support and assetmanagement. The contract covers Chevron's Chip & PIN payment terminal and PIN padinfrastructure over more than 1000 Texaco branded retail sites across the UnitedKingdom including Northern Ireland.
