Directors/PDMR interests

Umeco plc announces changes to share options held by Directors over 25p ordinary shares under the Company's all employee SAYE Share Option Scheme. The changes result from:

the lapsing of options granted in 2005 to Clive Snowdon and Andrew Moss at an exercise price of 370.4p per share, upon the expiry date of these options having been reached;

the lapsing of options granted in 2007 to Doug Robertson at an exercise price of 462.3p per share, upon cessation of contributions to the related savings contract; and

the granting of options to Clive Snowdon, Doug Robertson and Andrew Moss on 6 August 2009 at an exercise price of 159.0p per share. These grants follow an invitation to all eligible employees to apply for options under the SAYE Share Option Scheme. The exercise price was determined in accordance with the Scheme rules, being a 20% discount to the market value of 25p ordinary shares on the three days prior to the invitation being made. These options will be available for exercise from October 2012 and will expire in April 2013.

Options held by Clive Snowdon, Doug Robertson and Andrew Moss are therefore as follows:
