Urals Energy Public Company Limited31 July 2007 Urals Energy Public Company Limited ('Urals Energy' or the 'Company') Holdings in Company Urals Energy announces that Nafta (B) N.V. ("Nafta") has reduced itsshareholding in the Company by 3,500,000 Shares. The transfer of Shares tookplace in settlement of a loan obligation, entered into prior to Urals Energy'sflotation, between Nafta and the transferee. Following this transfer, which was finalised on 30 July 2007 and maderetroactively effective to 3 July 2007, Nafta holds 5,484,000 Sharesrepresenting 4.6% of the Company's issued share capital. As a result of their respective shareholdings in Nafta, Viatcheslav Rovneiko andGueorgui Ramzaitsev are deemed interested in a part of Nafta's shareholding inUrals Energy.
