TyraTech Secures New Composition Patent for Human and Animal Health

Patent Protects New Human and Animal Health Products and Pipeline.

TyraTech, Inc. (AIM: TYR and TYRU), a natural life sciences company, is pleased to announce that the Company has received notice from the United States Patent and Trademark Office granting a new patent for the Company's novel anti-parasitic and pest control composition.

The Directors of the Company believe that this patent is an important addition to TyraTech's intellectual property portfolio as it protects a number of new product offerings, including its new head lice flea and tick formulations. It will provide immediate support for TyraTech's head lice treatment range, as the Company plans to launch its first product in this area in 2013. This patent will also provide support and protection of the Company's pipeline of flea and tick control solutions for companion and production animals.
