Asacha mining and production update
LONDON: 20 December 2011 - Trans-Siberian Gold plc ("TSG" or the "Company") (TSG.L) reports that mine development activities at Asacha in the first eleven months of 2011 comprised approximately 3,175 metres and 34,800 m3. The ore stockpile at the end of November comprised approximately 68,000 tonnes.
On 29 September 2011 TSG reported the start of gold production at Asacha at the end of that month. By the end of November 2011, approximately 22,500 mt of ore with an average gold grade of 8.82 g/t had been processed at the Asacha plant at an average recovery rate of 94.1%.

The difference between the gold recovered and gold dore quantities in the above table represents gold in the processing circuit at the end of the relevant month which is included in dore production in the following month.
The first three shipments of gold dore from Asacha to the refinery at Novosibirsk were reported on 19 October and 2 November 2011. Two further shipments to the refinery were made in November. Refined amounts from the five shipments were 5,341 oz gold and 5,884 oz silver.
TSG will report Asacha's 2011 gold production in January 2012, with quarterly reports thereafter.
