Torex Retail PLC29 December 2006 Torex Retail plc (the "Company") Total Voting Rights and Additional Listing Application has been made for 7,042,954 ordinary shares of 1p each in theCompany ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on the AIM market of theLondon Stock Exchange ("AIM"). These new Ordinary Shares rank pari passu withthe Company's existing Ordinary Shares and dealings are expected to commence on2 January 2007. The above figure includes the previously issued number of Ordinary Sharesrelating to the acquisition of XN Checkout Holdings plc in August 2005 and ofAnker plc in September 2005, and the exercise of options in November 2006, allof which were announced at the appropriate time, but for which listingapplications were not made due to a clerical error. Following the admission of the new Ordinary Shares to trading, the number ofshares recorded as having been admitted to trading on AIM will match the numberof shares the company and its registrars have on record as currently in issue(which has not changed).
