Appointment of Director
Tarsus is pleased to announce today the appointment of Virginia Kern to the Board as an executive director with immediate effect.
Tarsus announced the acquisition of Fairs and Exhibitions ("F&E"), the organiser of the Dubai Air Show, on 12 November 2007. Virginia has been the Chairman of F&E for the last 15 years and has been involved with the company since 1976.
Neville Buch, Chairman of Tarsus, commented:
"Under Virginia's leadership, the biennial Dubai Air Show has grown strongly and has become not only the region's major event, but globally, one of the aviation industry's most important events. Following the acquisition of F&E, it is now Tarsus' largest exhibition.
"Dubai itself is growing strongly and the addition of Virginia, with her contacts and considerable knowledge of the region, to the Board will ensure that Tarsus is in a position to maximize its growth opportunities in the area. I welcome her most warmly to the Board"
The Company confirms that there is no further information required by Listing Rule 9.6.13R to be disclosed in relation to Virginia Kern.
