Tarsus Group PLC12 January 2006 12 January 2006 Tarsus Group PLC ("Tarsus") Acquisition Tarsus Group PLC ("Tarsus" or "the Group"), the international media group withinterests in exhibitions, conferences, publishing and online media is pleased toannounce the acquisition of DH Publishing Ltd (DHP) from David Hurst, for aninitial consideration of £350,000, payable in cash. DHP is focused on the b2bglobal online recruitment industry principally through its portal www.onrec.comand the magazine Online Recruitment as well as a range of associatedconferences. Recruitment across a wide range of industries is increasingly being carried outonline and DHP's portal brings industry service suppliers together with HRprofessionals, recruiters and job boards. DHP's site currently contains over3,700 recruitment sites from around the world and over 1,200 suppliers. In theUK, the IRS employment review published in October 2005 reported that onlinerecruitment was now the norm for two-thirds of firms and organisations. In theUS Mintel reported that 96% of Fortune 500 companies already use onlinerecruitment. With headquarters in Essex, DHP will be integrated within Tarsus' rapidlygrowing online media division based in the UK. Further consideration of up to£950,000, to be payable in loan notes, is dependent on DHP's financialperformance in the three years to end-December 2008.
