UgandaΒ -Β Drilling Project Update
Tower Resources plcΒ Β ("Tower") (AIM:TRP)Β is pleased to confirm that theΒ MBU-125Β drilling rigΒ importedΒ from SouthernΒ Sudan forΒ the Iti-1 well is on site and is being rigged up.
TheΒ roadΒ conditionsΒ andΒ proceduresΒ inΒ Southern SudanΒ for exporting the rig and campΒ in three convoysΒ have proven to be challenging but the challenge is being met. AnΒ additional two convoysΒ containingΒ the balance of the camp,Β drill pipe and other peripheral drilling equipmentΒ will beΒ loaded and en routeΒ to the siteΒ early nextΒ week.Β Β Β
TowerΒ nowΒ anticipates theΒ commencementΒ of drillingΒ to beΒ on or shortly after 25thΒ May.Β AΒ furtherΒ announcement will beΒ made onceΒ drilling begins.
