Trainline plc (the "Company") announces the appointment of Niall McBride as Audit and Risk Committee Chair and Independent Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 July 2026. Niall will also join Trainline's Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

Niall is currently Chief Financial Officer of MONY Group. Prior to this, he was CFO of Ocado Retail and a managing director at Rothschild & Co. He began his career at PwC, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Brian McBride, Chair of Trainline, commented: "I am delighted to welcome Niall to the Board. Niall is an experienced CFO who brings deep financial, operational and commercial expertise from across UK-listed consumer and technology businesses. His insights will be invaluable as Trainline continues to execute against its strategy and deliver long-term value for shareholders."
