Trainline plc (the "Company") announces the appointment of Rakhi Goss-Custard as Independent Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from the conclusion of the Company's forthcoming AGM and that Kjersti Wiklund has decided not to seek re-election at the Company's forthcoming AGM and will step down from the Board upon its conclusion.

Rakhi will join Trainline's Remuneration Committee as its Chair and will also join the Nomination and Audit and Risk Committees.

Brian McBride, Chair of Trainline, commented: "I am delighted to welcome Rakhi to the Board. Rakhi brings considerable expertise on customer experience and innovation at high growth tech businesses having spent 12 years at Amazon and deep knowledge from her subsequent roles as a non-executive director on other plc boards and committees. I would also like to thank Kjersti for her leadership as Chair of the Remuneration Committee since Trainline's IPO and the considerable support she has provided in transitioning the business into life as a public company."

Rakhi is currently a Non-executive Director at Rightmove plc, Kingfisher plc and Schroders plc. Rakhi was previously a Non-executive Director of Intu Properties plc and Aim listed Be Heard plc.
