Contract award by South African distributor, SmartSurv

Trakm8 (AIM: TRAK), the designer and developer of licensed GPRS based hardware and software for the vehicle placement and security market, is pleased to announce a significant contract with SmartSurv, a South African based supplier of tracking products and services and the Group's existing distributor in Africa.

The contract, initially for 12 months, is to supply complete tracking solutions to SmartSurv for its customer base. It is anticipated that this contract could lead to revenues in excess of £1 million over the next three years. Trakm8 will be supplying hardware based on its market leading T6 product, including CAN ('Controller Area Network') based communications and Trakm8's SWIFT™ operating platform.
