DIRECTORATE CHANGES

The Board of Directors of Triple Point Venture VCT plc announces that Sam Smith has been appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director, with immediate effect. In addition, Sam has been appointed as Senior Independent Director and member of the Audit Committee, with effect from the same date. Following an orderly succession period, Jane Owen, Chair and Non-Executive Director of the Company, will not stand for re-election at the Company's AGM expected to be held in July 2024 and will step down following the conclusion of the AGM. Jamie Brooke will be appointed as Non-Executive Chair of the Board, immediately following completion of the AGM.

Sam Smith is an entrepreneur with over 25 years' business and capital markets experience and has specialised in advising small and mid-cap growth companies. Sam was previously Chief Executive Officer of FinnCap Group PLC which, under her leadership, has become one of the largest brokers for companies listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.

Sam is currently a non-executive director of Solid State PLC listed on AIM, Sumer Group Holdings Ltd a professional services firm supporting SMEs with accounting and other services, Griffin Markets Limited, an OTC wholesale European energy trading business and of 55 Redefined Ltd.
