Appointment of Director to GO Science
Further to the announcement of 10 April 2014, the Board is pleased to announce the appointment of David Grant as a director and Chief Executive Officer of GO Science 2013 Ltd, Thalassa's autonomous underwater vehicle ("AUV") subsidiary.
Mr Grant has over 30 years experience in the underwater vehicle (both remotely operated vehicles ("ROVs") and AUV sector). His most recent previous position was, from 2007 until 2012, Managing Director of Saab Seaeye Ltd. Saab Seaeye Ltd is a leading manufacturer of electric powered ROV and AUV systems for a wide range of professional applications. Mr Grant previously held positions with SMD Ltd, Hydrovision Ltd and Osprey Electronics (which has since been acquired by Kongsberg).
Thalassa's Chairman, Duncan Soukup commented:
