Thomas Cook Group PLC28 December 2007 28 December 2007 Thomas Cook Group plc announces that in connection with the merger of CondorFlugdienst GmbH, which was announced on 20 September 2007, the GermanBundeskartellamt (Federal Cartel Office),with the approval of Thomas Cook andAir Berlin, has extended the deadline for completion of its primary evaluationprocess by two months until 07 April 2008. This extension has been made as aresult of the additional time required due to the complexity of the merger andthe quantity of data that has to be collected and reviewed. This extension ispart of a routine regulatory process and Thomas Cook Group plc has not changedits view as to the likely decision of the Cartel Office as a result of thisdevelopment.
