Notification of transaction by Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Tate & Lyle PLC (the 'Company') was informed that 15,064 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company ('Shares') were released on 4 September 2019 to Andrew Taylor, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, in accordance with the Restricted Share Award that was granted to him on 24 November 2017. 4,414 shares were withheld to satisfy certain tax obligations arising on the release of the Shares. As a result, Mr. Taylor acquired and retained a total of 10,650 Shares. For tax purposes, the market value of the Shares, being the average of the two closing prices on the date of the transaction, was 743 pence per share. No consideration was paid for the acquisition of these Shares.
