Tanfield Group PLC01 February 2007 Tanfield Group PLC ('Tanfield' or 'the Group') Trading Update UpRight Powered Access Appoints New Strategic Distributors, Weekly Order Intake Exceeds 14 million Euros The Directors of Tanfield are delighted to announce that Tanfield's flagshippowered access brand, UpRight Powered Access, has over the past five workingdays successfully secured orders for over 1,200 aerial work platforms, with atotal value in excess of 14 million Euros. The orders have been secured from a number of existing UpRight distributors,together with several new UpRight distributors, recently appointed by the Groupin key strategic territories in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and NorthernEurope. Tanfield will deliver the machines via a staged build programme across thecalendar year 2007. The Group remains on schedule to double output to 100 UpRight machines per weekby the end of February. Tanfield has ordered a larger, third crane line for theGroup's 250,000sq ft UK assembly facility, Vigo Centre, which will furthersignificantly increase capacity. As this network grows in strength, we expect substantial increasesin volume sales.
