Tanfield Group PLC19 October 2006 Tanfield Group plc ("Tanfield" or "the Company") Board Appointment Further to the announcement of 25 September 2006, the following information isdisclosed with reference to Brendan Campbell's appointment to the Board ofTanfield. Brendan (aged 41) has been working for Tanfield for 4 years as an operationsdirector and currently serves on the Board of Tanfield's subsidiary TanfieldEngineering Systems Limited. There is no further information to be disclosed regarding Brendan, deriving fromSchedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
