IT Infrastructure Refresh Contract Win with Dacorum Borough Council

SysGroup plc ("SysGroup" or the "Group"), a provider of managed IT services and cloud solutions, is pleased to announce that its recently acquired subsidiary, Saxis Group Ltd ("SAXIS"), has been appointed by Dacorum Borough Council to deliver a full IT infrastructure refresh programme. The contract was awarded following a formal competitive tender process and will see SAXIS modernise the Council's private cloud environment, enhancing performance, resilience and cyber security. The refreshed platform is designed to provide improved performance, enhanced recoverability and a more resilient foundation to support the Council's critical public services and future digital initiatives. This engagement builds on a long-standing relationship between SAXIS and Dacorum Borough Council, with SAXIS having supported the Council for more than ten years. Gary Osler, Technology Manager at Dacorum Borough Council, commented: "This investment gives us a significantly more resilient and performant platform to support the Council's critical services and digital ambitions. Cyber resilience and recoverability were key drivers for the programme, and the new infrastructure improves reliability, performance and assurance while reducing operational risk.
