Appointment of Dominique Fournier as an Independent Non-executive Director

Yule Catto & Co plc ("Yule Catto" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Dominique Fournier will join the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director with effect from 1 January 2012.

M. Fournier, 61, is currently Chief Executive of Infineum International Limited, a global specialty chemicals joint venture between Shell and ExxonMobil. He is due to retire from Infineum at the end of this year, after seven years in the role.

He has over 35 years of European and US experience in the chemical industry having held a wide variety of roles during that period at Exxon Mobil Chemical and Infineum.

Commenting on the appointment Peter Wood, Chairman, said:

"Dominique brings a wealth of international chemical industry experience which complements the Board's existing expertise and we look forward to working with him."

On his appointment to Yule Catto's Board, M. Fournier will join its Audit and Remuneration Committees.

There are no further details to be notified under listing rule 9.6.13 in relation to M. Fournier's appointment.
