PLC10 December 2007 SYMPHONY ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES PLC ("the Company") CORRECTIVE ANNOUNCEMENT In the "Holdings in Company" announcement made by the Company on 05 December 2007, it was incorrectly stated that Hunter Hall Investment Management Limited ("Hunter Hall") was interested in shares totalling 14.08% in the entire issued share capital of the Company. In fact Hunter Hall are interested in shares totalling 13.01% of the entire issued share capital of the Company. The announcement should have read: 05 December 2007 SYMPHONY ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES PLC ('Symphony' or the 'Company') HOLDINGS IN COMPANY The Company was notified on 4 December 2007 by Hunter Hall Investment Management Limited ('Hunter Hall') that they have an interest in 5,036,217 of the Company's ordinary shares representing 5.89 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Together with the 7,000,000 new ordinary shares issued pursuant to the placingannounced on 4 December 2007 Hunter Hall now has an aggregate interest in12,036,217 ordinary shares representing 13.01% of the enlarged issued sharecapital.
