York Potash Project: appointment of geoconsultant specialists
Sirius Minerals Plc (AIM: SXX, OTCQX: SRUXY), the globally diversified potash development group, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, York Potash Ltd, has appointed geoconsultant specialists, Spectrum & Hornet Geoconsulting ("Spectrum"), to carry out seismic evaluation and interpretation work on its York Potash Project.
Spectrum is initially working alongside environmental and geological consultants, FWS Consultants Ltd, to assess all the existing seismic data and well logs held by the Company prior to carrying out a detailed interpretation of the data at its Woking facility. The findings will then be: incorporated into the analysis of the existing and future boreholes; used to assist in the ongoing mineral rights acquisition programme; and ultimately used to assist in determining suitable locations for the mine's surface facilities.
