SURGICAL INNOVATIONS GROUP PLC ISSUE OF EQUITY
Surgical Innovations Group plc ("SI" or the "Company") announces that it has issued and allotted 1,600,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company following the exercise of share options by Graham Bowland, Chief Executive of SI. The exercise prices of the options are as follows:

Following the exercise of the options Mr. Bowland holds 4,217,498 ordinary shares in the Company representing 1.1 per cent. of the issued share capital.
An application has been made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM which is expected to occur on 19 October 2010. Following the issue of the new shares there are 381,491,902 ordinary shares of 1p each of SI in issue with each share carrying the right to one vote.
