CFO GEORGE WATT TO LEAVE STV

STV Group plc confirms that George Watt, Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving the company on 31 March 2019 to pursue a non-executive career following 20 years with the Company.
George will continue to serve on the Board and work closely with Chief Executive, Simon Pitts, until he leaves the company. A process to appoint a successor will now commence.
Simon Pitts, Chief Executive, said:
"George has done an outstanding job over two decades at STV and we are indebted to him for his great contribution to the success of the company. I have very much enjoyed working with George since joining in January and this will continue over the next six months as we deliver our strategic growth plan. The process to appoint a successor will now begin."
Margaret Ford, Chairman, said:
"George has made a significant contribution to the Company and the Board over many years and we are immensely grateful for his efforts. On behalf of the Board we wish him continued success as he embarks on a portfolio career."
George Watt, Chief Financial Officer, said:
"After 20 years with the Group, I am excited about embarking upon the next chapter of my career. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with committed and talented people and highly supportive executive and Board colleagues throughout my time at STV. I am excited about the future prospects of the business under Simon's leadership as the strategic growth plan is delivered."
