Spiritel PLC05 March 2007 Embargoed until 07.01, 5 March 2007 SPIRITEL PLC ("Spiritel" or "the Company") APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Spiritel plc, (AIM:STP) the telecommunications services company, is pleased toannounce that Anthony J Vose (aged 52) is joining the Board of the Company as anexecutive director with immediate effect and will oversee Spiritel's Retaildivision. Spiritel today announced the acquisition of Ashland Group Limited ("Ashland"),the company Anthony founded, based in Wigan. Anthony has been appointed ManagingDirector of Spiritel Retail, which now incorporates Ashland. He will beresponsible for growing the division and building upon the success achieved withAshland, which became a leading supplier of telecommunications solutions to theUK hospitality and retail sectors. Ashland was established in 1989 and installs and maintains voice and datasolutions throughout Great Britain and Ireland for a range of clients includingblue chip hospitality providers Marriott, Premier Travel Inn and Spirit Group.
